As the only Hui (Chinese Muslim) Autonomous Region, Ningxia has witnessed its industries of halal food and Muslim commodities well developed. By now, there have been full range of halal foods produced in Ningxia with high quality, and the production has also been further expanded towards a standard one. Furthermore, Ningxia has reached agreements on mutual acknowledgement of halal products with those halal certification agencies of foreign countries as Malaysia and Thailand, and Ningxia has founded its International Certification Center of Halal Food, which will facilitate the access of China-made halal food to the international market and create huge potentials in this way.
