China（Shijiazhuang）International Leather ﹠ Fur Exposition 2009, supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, will hold its first session at Shijiazhuang International Exhibition Center, China, in Jun.18-Jun.22, 2009. With the theme of Facing market, Promoting trade, Showing products, Cooperating for mutual benefit, it seeks to promote the leather﹠fur industry technology upgrading and innovation, show new products and new processing , keep up with the new trends in international development, and lead the leather﹠fur consumption of the new trend. The Expo covers 10,000 square meters, total 500 standard booths. In order to create a good exchange and communication environment for the industry and build leather﹠fur trade in the new platform both at home and abroad, we will invite numerous domestic and overseas exhibitors in leather﹠fur production, import & export, leather processing, chemical raw materials, auxiliary materials area and professional visitors.
China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CFNA), the sponsor of the exposition, is directly under the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. As the authoritative organization in foodstuffs and animal by-products trade in china, CFNA dedicates to promote international cooperation among food and animal by- products trade.
China is the world's largest leather and fur production and sales center. In 2007, the export trade volume of the leather, fur and its products amounted to 4.67 billion U.S. dollars, while import and export enterprises reached 16,324. Hebei province is China’s most important leather & fur production, processing and trade center. The output and sales volume of leather, fur and its products in Hebei province occupied the homeland front raw. As the capital of Hebei province, Shijiazhuang is also the main window to the world for the fur and leather enterprises.
